Opened in 2004 Gross National First Tee Driving Range features 18 practice stations and four target greens complete with target sand traps to help you work on all aspects of your short and long iron game. The Gross National First Tee Driving Range is an irons and mats only learning center.

The First Tee is a national program whose mission is to create affordable and accessible golf facilities with a strong emphasis on serving area youth of all races and economic backgrounds who have not had access or exposure to the game of golf. Programs, equipment & instruction have been developed to help serve the needs of juniors interested in the game.

Private golf lessons, group golf lessons, junior golf programs and various golf clinics are available during the season, all taught by PGA Golf Pros.

Historical Profile: More information about this and other parks is included in Parks, Lakes, Trails and So Much More, a richly detailed account of the histories of Minneapolis’ renown recreational system. (See Gross National Golf Club section.)
